We had a very busy couple of days, so I haven't been able to post any of our new photos, but I promise I'll catch up on that now...
Our weekend started with our niece Jenna's first communion down in Bloomington. Thankfully the weather cooperated and it turned into a gorgeous day, so Bella was able to enjoy a lot of time outside with her cousins before we went to the ceremony.
We had lots of fun, Bella got to see her cousins and aunt and uncle (although she still will not look her uncle Robyn in the eye), grandma P, her great grandparents and her grandpa from Florida, so of course she was completely wiped out by the time we went home that night.
Here are some of the photos from that day...
Coming up: Photos from the celebration for my birthday over the last day or two, with another Bella solo version of "Happy Birthday" of course.

We had one of those completely up and down weekends this past weekend. On Friday, Michele caught a multiplied version of the stomach bug that Bella had on Wednesday, and that basically knocked her out from Friday night through Sunday morning. Good times. Luckily Bella was a very cooperative girl for Daddy those days, so that really helped.
Sunday, we woke up, and Michele was in much much better shape, the weather was absolutely perfect, and best of all, Michele's company had Six Flags Great America all to themselves that day. So we headed up there and got there right after the opening and had a couple of hours of fun. Bella got to walk around with her friend Ethan from daycare for the first part of the day, and got to see him win a monkey and everything.
Bella was hesitant at first to go on any of the kid rides, for some reason she didn't even want to go on the rides in the Wiggles area that she went on last year. Her favorite ride for the majority of the day was unfortunately getting lugged around in her wagon by Daddy. After some coaxing, she went on one of those car driving rides and loved it, and was back to being her adventurous little self after that.
She ended up going on some of the Wiggles rides, then she went on a kids ride ALL BY HERSELF! We then went on the carousel and a balloon type ride that she likes alot twice, so it all worked out well.
We got alot of stuff done around the outside of the house the rest of the day, since it was absolutely gorgeous out, so it ended up being a very good weekend over all.

Luckily Bella's day care was right, the stomach bug thing she had only lasted about 12 hours. Bella was fine by yesterday (Thursday) morning, and has been running around parks, playgrounds and Targets as usual since then.
The baby in the stroller is Bella's new favorite toy, who she has named "Pookie."
Here are more photos of her adventures, enjoy!

Bella unfortunately caught one of those fun stomach/flu bugs that is going around her day care class last night, so we had a fun night of having her throw up 6 or 7 times all night. They tell us it is supposed to only last a day, so we'll be staying home and trying to get the little girl all better.
Here are some other recent photos in the meantime, from our recent visit to Bella's great grandpa and grandma's house...
