We had one of those completely up and down weekends this past weekend. On Friday, Michele caught a multiplied version of the stomach bug that Bella had on Wednesday, and that basically knocked her out from Friday night through Sunday morning. Good times. Luckily Bella was a very cooperative girl for Daddy those days, so that really helped.
Sunday, we woke up, and Michele was in much much better shape, the weather was absolutely perfect, and best of all, Michele's company had Six Flags Great America all to themselves that day. So we headed up there and got there right after the opening and had a couple of hours of fun. Bella got to walk around with her friend Ethan from daycare for the first part of the day, and got to see him win a monkey and everything.
Bella was hesitant at first to go on any of the kid rides, for some reason she didn't even want to go on the rides in the Wiggles area that she went on last year. Her favorite ride for the majority of the day was unfortunately getting lugged around in her wagon by Daddy. After some coaxing, she went on one of those car driving rides and loved it, and was back to being her adventurous little self after that.
She ended up going on some of the Wiggles rides, then she went on a kids ride ALL BY HERSELF! We then went on the carousel and a balloon type ride that she likes alot twice, so it all worked out well.
We got alot of stuff done around the outside of the house the rest of the day, since it was absolutely gorgeous out, so it ended up being a very good weekend over all.

She looks like she had so much fun! I couldn't get Carolina to ride any rides by herself this past summer, so your shy-pie is pretty brave! Maybe she can teach Carolina a thing or two.
Bella looks happy and cheerful. Again, the photos are very nice.
